Fantastic nature poster with a beautiful image of Kilchurn Castle. Or rather what is left of it, these ruins belong to a 15th-century castle in the Scottish region Argyll and Bute. The old ruin reflects in the water of Loch Awe, giving it a mysterious feel. During the Jacobite rising the castle was used as shelter for governmental soldiers. Around 1740 the castle was abandoned, it remained under the Campbell clan's ownership. Twenty years later, around 1760, there was a large fire and the castle was permanently vacated.
